Detritus Designs - Our Story

Detritus wasn’t supposed to be a clothing label.
It started as a side-quest.
We were running DJ events and wanted some merch that actually felt like us — something that wasn’t generic, wasn’t cheesy, and didn’t look like it fell out of a bargain bin. So we made our first piece: the Microwave Jersey.
And honestly?
That thing changed everything.
We realised pretty fast that our best ideas weren’t polished, perfect, or corporate… they were weird. Chaotic. Silly in the best way. And people loved it. Friends started asking for shirts. Randoms at gigs wanted to buy them. We had folks telling us, “Bro, you need to make a whole line.”
So, we did.
Detritus Designs was born out of one simple thought: If we’re going to make stuff, it’s going to be fun, loud, and impossible to ignore.
We’re here for the partygoers, the streetwalkers, the DJs, the creatives, the people who don’t take life too seriously but still want to look sharp doing it. Our designs aren’t meant to blend in — they’re meant to spark a reaction.
Right now, we’re deep in the lab cooking up our next season. New designs, sharper concepts, bigger energy. When it drops, it won’t sneak in quietly — it’ll arrive like someone just cranked the gain too high.
Stay tuned. It’s about to get messy in the best possible way.
