Behind the Scenes at Detritus Designs — October Update

It's been a bit of a quieter month for Detritus Designs on the outside, but that doesn't mean things have stopped moving.
The past few weeks have been a bit of a juggling act, with plenty happening behind the scenes across our other projects. Between rebuilding our social media presence for Homebrewed DJs and Homebass after losing access to our accounts, and navigating a transition between jobs, most of our attention has been pulled in a few different directions.
As much as we'd love to be pumping out new designs, dropping fresh merch and filling the website with new content every week, sometimes real life gets in the way. We'd rather take the time to get things right than rush out content just for the sake of it.
A Little Something in the Works 📸
One thing we have managed to tick off this month is getting some fresh promotional photography taken.
The shots are currently waiting to be edited, but we're looking forward to seeing how they turn out. Once they're ready, we're hoping to start putting together some Detritus lookbooks and style guides to show off the gear properly, give you some inspiration for putting outfits together, and bring a bit more personality to the brand.
Think less basic product photos and more of a proper look at how Detritus fits into the world of DJs, music lovers, late nights and everyday streetwear.
It's still early days, but this is something we'd like to build on as the brand develops.
What's Next?
We're keeping things ticking along while we get everything else sorted, with plenty of ideas still on the table for future designs, content and merch drops.
The goal is to keep building Detritus into something that feels like more than just another clothing store. We want to create gear that connects with the people behind the music, the culture and the chaos that comes with it.
There isn't a massive announcement to make this month, and we're not going to manufacture one. We're just getting things organised, working on what's next and laying a few foundations for the months ahead.
Thanks for being here and supporting Detritus Designs while we figure it all out. There's more to come, we're just getting warmed up.
Stay tuned. Keep it loud. Don't be a jukebox.
